Collection: Cancervo

Inspired by the local legend of the Cancervo creature, a half-dog, half-deer, three musicians formed the power heavy psych trio in 2020. Their sound, rooted in 70s heavy riffs and mystical atmospheres, pays homage to their valley's rich traditions. Following the success of their debut album, they released "II" in 2023, delving deeper into the occult tales of their lands, with lyrics narrating the despair of souls swallowed by Mount Arera and the eternal damnation of the herdsman of Grem. With "III," their latest work, they accentuated doom's roots, emphasizing darker, gloomier themes and a more prominent vocal presence alongside their signature guitar riffs. The band explores the clash between sacred and profane, reflecting the enduring folklore of their mountainous region. Cancervo has extensively toured Europe and performed at the Electric Valley Festival alongside Messa, 1782, and Elepharmers.
