Says the band: A year and a half ago, after the release of III, when Cancervo was approached to compose the soundtrack for “Miserable Breath, Miserable Flesh,” there was no doubt: “Zambel’s Goat” would be the song of choice.
Legend talks about a Baphomet threatened to stab the throats of travelers in the valley. The valley is also depicted in the film, where the plague epidemic of 1600 began to strike the throats of the unfortunate inhabitants.
The song has been rearranged and enriched with the dark keyboards of Fido (who had already collaborated on III) and the occult vocals by Eléonore, now covering the entire length of the film.
