Basaltic Plateau is a sonic experiment blending psychedelic fascinations with stoner and the abrasive distortion of noise. Originally conceived as an instrumental project, the band emerges as a spiritual successor to the alternative scene of the '90s, delivering a hypnotic and visionary live experience. Maurizio Cau’s noisy guitars and cosmic synths, Marco Serra’s monolithic bass riffs, and Roberto Loscerbo’s psychedelic grooves pull the listener into a state of sound-induced trance, an inward journey through echoes of extinct dinosaurs and lysergic landscapes. Through dense and expansive sound waves, Basaltic Plateau leads listeners across deserts and seas, dunes and winds, exploring the deepest folds of perception and memory. Every concert becomes a collective ritual in search of the self, between acid visions and cosmic resonance.
