Central Texas has long been known for its unique underground heavy rock sound, born from the late '60s, '70s, and '80s. This distinctive style, unlike anywhere else, has consistently emerged from the region over the decades. Fast forward 50 years, and the same hell-raising, beer-drinking, guitar-slinging rock 'n' roll spirit is alive and well. Enter PETH, a band formed during the 2020 pandemic, bringing that classic Texas noise into the 21st century. These four native Texans deliver an electrifying blend of early '70s proto-metal, occult rock, and stoner sounds, drawing influence from Black Sabbath, Scorpions, Medusa, Venom, Blue Cheer, Pentagram, ZZ Top, and more. With evil guitarmonies, a powerful bass and drum section, and two knockout vocalists, PETH are keeping the spirit of Texas rock alive while leading the way for the new era of rock 'n' roll.
