Collection: Atomic Mold

Formed in January 2014 by Marco Fila (drums) and Antonio Bonizzato (vocals/bass), The Atomic Mold quickly added Luca Massella (guitar) and released their self-titled debut album that October. In March 2015, they collaborated with Mount Hush on a 12" split via Electric Valley Records, shortly before Massella's initial departure. For a year, the duo toured Italy, garnering acclaim as a bass-and-drums act. Massella rejoined in March 2016, leading to European tours with acts like Fatso Jetso, Cosmic Dead, Black Tusk, Mothership, and Zippo. During Massella's subsequent absences, Fila and Bonizzato wrote new material. Following Massella's permanent departure, Davide Marotta joined on guitar, bringing immediate synergy. The band then completed "Hybrid Slow Flood," released by Electric Valley Records. The Atomic Mold delivers a predominantly instrumental, choleric, and psychedelic sound, punctuated by intense vocal intrusions that weave erratically through their heavy, monolithic compositions.
